How to tell if a book has been damaged by smoke

If you find your book is heavily damaged due to smoke, remove the dirt and dust from multiple surfaces of the book. You can do this by using a clean, soft cloth to remove the film.

This method is an advanced technique for detecting smoke damage in books. It’s not toxic, safe on walls, and more effective than other methods.

A more advanced detection method is the use of black light. This will detect any smoke damage in books up to 25 feet away.
